Parker Rites To Be Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Earl Parker will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Mlller-Wehrle Funeral Home. The Rev. Bruce Matthews will officiate, and burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Earl A. Parker died of a heart attack at our local hospital Wednesday afternoon, September 24, 1958. She was stricken at her home, at 402 East Bank, Street, on Monday, and entered the hospital Tuesday morning.
She was Darley M. Doggett, daughter of J . R. and Rebecca Ullem Doggett. On the 30th of June in 1909 she was united in marriage to Earl A. Parker. Her husband has operated a clothing store here for many years.
Mrs. Parker was a member and a good worker in the Drake Avenue Christian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Past Matron's Club, the White Shrine; Country Club, Woman's Club, and the Entre Nous Study Club.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Meeker, of Clinton; two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Lee Thompson, of Centerville. A sister, Mrs. Clyde Atkinson, died last June 27. Another sister, Mrs. Fairy Brown, and three brothers, Charlie, Len, and Harley Doggett, also preceded her in death.
