Helen I. Tressler, 90, of Harnedsville, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her home. She was born June 19, 1923 in Lower Turkeyfoot Twp., a daughter of Roy Mathias and Mable Maude (Speicher) Colflesh. Her parents, brothers, Lawrence "Bill", Earl "Bud", Joseph, Robert and Terry and a sister, Mae Fike preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Mahlon, daughters, Linda Holliday and husband, Bill and Diana Walker and husband, Wayne, all of Confluence; a son, Walter, Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Kerry Clark and Kristie Clark-Stockwell and husband, Dan, Confluence; and sister, Pearle Bittner, Friendsville, MD. Helen was a member of the Silbaugh United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 1, 2014 with Pastor Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Silbaugh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Helen's memory to the American Heart Assoc. or Somerset In Touch Hospice.
