Susan A. (Evans) Fischer, 55, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 4:25 p.m. following a brief illness with cancer.
She was born in Richland, Washington on March 17, 1958 to Kenneth G. and Mary Ann (George) Evans.
She received her nursing degree from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette in 1979. She worked as a registered nurse for the Lakeview Medical Center and St. Elizabeth Hospitals, both in Danville, IL. She later worked at the Fountain-Warren County Health Department and for The Waters of Covington Nursing Center. Her most recent nursing positions were held at St. Vincent Home Health Care and she was presently working at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the time of her illness.
