Donna Marie Mitchell (nee Shipman), 64, of Cottleville, Missouri was called home to Jesus on Thursday, February 20, 2014 after an extended battle with cancer. Donna was born on August 30, 1949 in Olathe, Kansas. She was a beloved Christ follower, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a woman of many passions.
Donna leaves a loving husband, Robert; two children, Elizabeth and Michael and their spouses, Daniel and Victoria; and five grandchildren (Nicholas, Douglas, Samantha, Charles and Caleb). She also leaves behind a cherished lay ministry and United Methodist community of Christian believers and seekers at Church of the Shepherd.
