Gladys Faye Best, 66, of Woodville passed away peacefully on January 26, 2014. Born October 14, 1947, in Woodville, Texas to the late Richard and Johnnie Mae Bradshaw Best, she was a retired band director for Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Sue Kimbrough and her husband, Harley Kimbrough and her sister Rebecca Ann Witt and her husband, Gary Witt. Gladys is survived by her loving family, brother, Richard Best, Jr. and wife, Colleen of Utah; nephews, Mark Kimbrough and wife, Linsey of Woodville, Paul Kimbrough and wife, Cori of Dallas, Nick Witt and Eric Witt both of Longview; great niece, Katelyn Kimbrough of Dallas; and many other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 31, 2014, at 2 pm at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville with Brother Arnold officiating.
