Mrs. Julia M. Calcione, 78, of Scituate Avenue died Monday at Roger Williams Hospital shortly after being admitted. She was the widow of Frank Calcione.

A Rhode Island resident 72 years, she was born in Maynard, Mass., a daughter of the late James and Lila (Meader) Connor.

She leaves four sons, William Calcione, Andrew Calcione and Louis Calcione, all of Johnston, and Frank Calcione of Providence; six daughters, Mrs. Martha Christy of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Julanne Bosco of Dearfield, Fla., and Mrs. Angela Parenteau, Mrs. Dolores Colizzo, Mrs. Olivia Spardello and Mrs. Rose Loppi, all of Johnston; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Pearce of Cranston; 43 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Winfield Funeral Home, Greenville Common. Burial will be in Phillips Memorial Cemetery, Foster.
