Miss Dorothy V. Caine, daughter of Alfred R. Caine, 2447 East Fayette Street, was married to Herman A. Obrist, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Obrist, 132 Parkside Avenue, Saturday morning, Aug. 10, at 8 o'clock in Saint Joseph's French Church, the Rev. David Norcott officiating. The edifice was set with white gladioli.
The bride was gowned in white silk marquisette with a bouquet of white roses. Her maid of honor, Miss Patricia Gavigan, wore blue silk marquisette and had a bouquet of Talisman roses. Robert E. Obrist, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Obrist, was attired in navy blue silk sheer print with bouquet of gardenias. There was a wedding breakfast at the home of the bridegroom's parents. The couple will live in Watertown.

Dorothy C. Obrist of Gainesville died Saturday. She was 84.
Mrs. Obrist was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and moved to Gainesville from Watertown, N.Y., in 1974. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was an active volunteer and supporter both for her church and for Catholic Charities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman A. Obrist....

She and her husband had five children who survived her, along with 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
