Son of Joseph C. Brewer & Eleanor "Ellen" Ann Fleming. Married Addie Spain on Jan. 19, 1902. Father of Arthur Paul Brewer, Eleanor Addie Brewer, & George Wesley Brewer. His obituary from Seattle Daily Times Newspaper, Sept. 9, 1923:
Seattle Police Officer Dies------ Arthur F. Brewer,58 years old, veteran of the Georgetown police detail, died Friday at his home, 4737 45th Ave. S.W. He had resided in Seattle for twenty years. Mr. Brewer was born in Columbus, Ga., in 1865. He is survived by his widow,Mrs. Addie Brewer; two sons, George and Paul and one daughter, Eleanor, all of Seattle. He was a member of the Alki Lodge of Masons. He worked during the war as inspector in the shipyards, and had been with the Seattle Police Department for the last sixteen years. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today from the Daniels & Brinton parlors, under the auspices of the Free and Accepted Masons together with an escort of the Police Band. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
