Benjamen E. "Benny" Howard age 63 of Sparta passed away Sunday morning February 23, 2014 at NHC of Sparta.
Benny was born August 18, 1950 in Putnam County to the late Woodrow Wilson & Elizabeth Louine Tindlell Howard. He was a former ACME Boot employee. He was a 1970 graduate of Tennessee State School for Deaf.
He is survived by brothers, sisters and their spouses: Woody & Linda Howard of Sparta, Linda & James Smith of Cookeville, Judy & Clayburn Dunn, Sady & Jana Howard, Wildred & David Vidrine, Donnie & Sherry Howard all of Sparta, Terry & Buffy Howard of Leesburg, GA

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Saylors Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00pm Monday in the parlor of Hunter Funeral Home. Richard Key will officiate.
