Lois Adkins Combs, of Pine Meadows Health Center, Lexington, KY, died Dec 3, 2007. She was the daughter of Frank and Sophia Adkins of Hazard, KY and widow of Eli Leslie (Les) Combs. She was born in Hazard, KY, on June 3, 1927. She is survived by brothers Ted Adkins (Juanita) and Paul Adkins (Elaine, deceased) and five sons, Eli Leslie (Les), Jr, of Las Vegas, NV, David C. (Cathy) of Lexington, KY, and C. Glen (Jamie) of Lexington, KY. Her two deceased sons are Homer L. and Diane, and James Coy (Madonna), previously of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Private family services are being held in Hazard, with burial to follow at the Resthaven Cemetery. Maggard Brothers Funeral Home of Hazard, KY was in charge of arrangements.
