Graveside funeral service for Velino S. "Pat" (Walker) Smith, age 87 of Cullman, will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 1:00 pm at The Branchville Presbyterian Church in Odenville, AL. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the service to honor her life.
Ms. Smith passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at CRMC. She was born October 18, 1926 in St. Clair County, Alabama to John Venus and Zora Hare Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Wesley Thomas "W.T." Simpson.

Survivors include two sons, William David "Bill" Walker of Albany, GA and Joseph Ike "Joe" Walker of Cullman; two step-sons, Houston and Jerry Gibson; five grandchildren, Kristi Walker Kelley of Toney, AL, Wendy Walker Smithson of Cullman, Tyler Walker of Cullman, Billy Walker of Albany, GA, and Jonathon Walker of Jacksonville, FL; and numerous great-grandchildren and other loved ones and relatives.
