Funeral services for Martha Joy Smith Parks, 59, of Winnsboro will be held at 10 am Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Pete and Rev Virgil "Bo" Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the funeral home.

Joy was born May 10, 1954 at King's Hospital in Winnsboro, to Randy and Oneida Smith and passed away in her home on February 25, 2014.

She loved Elvis Presley, Conway Twitty, Vestal Goodman and cooking for her family and friends, but most of all she loved her family with all her heart.

She is preceded in death by her father Randy Smith and her brother Rev. Wayne Smith.

Survivors include husband Raymond Parks; Mother Oneida Smith; son Ryan Parks and wife Denise; son Scott Parks and wife Kyla; grandchildren Tate, Jaren, Lessie and Molly Parks; sister Marilyn Reynolds and husband Mitch; brother Mark Smith; sister Linda Signorelli and husband Kim and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Hollis, Jamie Hollis, Jason Parks, Josh Parks, Matthew Reynolds and Colby Smith.
