Fair Play, SC - Christopher (Chris) Lee Mathis, 18, of 141 Lakeshore Drive, passed away Monday, November 8, 2010.

Born in Oconee County to Brian and April Dawn Broome Mathis, Chris was a 2010 graduate from West-Oak High School and was a student at Greenville Technical College where he was majoring in Business. He was a member of Calvary Church of God and attended Fair Play Presbyterian Church.

Survivors in addition to his parents include brother Jonah Seth Mathis; maternal grandparents Linda and Jimmy Broome; paternal grandmother Jane Mathis; his aunt and uncle Angel and Cam Morehead and daughter A.J., uncle Daniel Mathis, and uncle and aunt Richard and Cynthia Mathis and their children Hannah, Mac, and Jamie.

His paternal grandfather James Mathis preceded him in death.

Graveside Services will be held 3PM, Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service on Thursday at Beaverdam Baptist Church. The family is at the residence. Flowers are accepted or memorials in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer�s Association, Palmetto Chapter, PO Box 7044, Columbia, SC 29202.
