Catherine "Cathy" C. Brown, 65, of Webster died May 8, 2013 at her home in Webster, Wisconsin, surrounded by loved ones.
Cathy was born in Yakima, Washington on August 9, 1947 to Wilma and Wilard Treece. She attended school in Toppenish, Washington with her childhood best friend, Julia Hooper. Cathy married Marvin Brown on May 5, 1975, and together, they raised six girls. She worked in Zillah, Washington at a fruit packing plant and later as a bartender at the Green Lantern Tavern in Seattle, after that she became a house keeper at the Toppenish Community hospital. Cathy loved the outdoors, you could most often find her swimming or water skiing and she took great joy in spending time with her loved ones.
Cathy is preceded in death by her husband; Marvin J. Brown, Father; Wilard Treece, Brothers; Bill and Bob Rockwell. She is sadly missed by her Mother; Wilma Treece, 6 daughters; Penny LaFollette of Toppenish, WA, Heidi Morris of Harrah, WA, Julie Brown of Belfair, WA, Bobbie Brown of Belfair, WA, Laurie (Pete) Williams of Port Orchard, WA and Cindy (Jim) Kershaw of Bremerton, WA. Her brothers; Rod (Shirley) Treece of Toppenish, WA. and John (Sharon) Treece of Moose Pass, AK. Grandchildren; Ashley LaFollette (William Williamson) of Webster, Wisconsin. Amber (Victor) Gonzalez of Toppenish, Washington as well as numerous others. Great Grandchildren; Leland Williamson of Webster, Victor Gonzalez and Ericka Gonzalez of Toppenish as well as numerous others.
There will an immediate family graveside memorial at the Zillah Cemetery in Zillah, Washington, on August 23, 2013 at 11AM and a " Celebration of Life" Potluck Lunch on August 24, 2013 in the banquet room at the Eagles in Toppenish, Washington at 1:00pm. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, Wisconsin. .
