Zena Evelyn "Big Momma" Rankin Luman passed from this life on February 22, 2014 in McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Zena was born on December 26, 1922 in Sims, Arkansas to Loren "Fat" and Virgie (Carter) Rankin. Zena was a preacher's wife and homemaker. She loved singing, playing the piano, cooking and crocheting. She especially loved her grandbabies and enjoyed singing to them. Zena was a wonderful Christian lady who was very devoted to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Virgie Rankin; her husband, Charles Douglas Luman, and her sister, Norma Jean Woods. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 2:00pm at The Assembly of God Church in Antlers, Oklahoma with Virgie Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Farris Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service.
