Ralph's middle name came from Mrs. Leicht, who was a neighbor living near Edwin and Hattie at their Yocumtown Valley Road farm where the twins were born. Mrs. Leicht helped Hattie with the clothing of the twins.
After his service in WWII, Ralph married Florence Amy Kibe on March 22nd 1943.
