N. J. Lombard Rites Saturday; Former Printer

Services for Nathan James Lombard, 871 W. LaFayette Ave., who died yesterday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Greenleaf Funeral Home, the Rev. J. Edward Hamilton of the Elmwood Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.

Mr. Lombard was a former printer for The Post-Standard and The Herald-Journal, Herald-American for 40 years. He retired last spring from The Herald-Journal.

A native of Marathon who had lived in Syracuse 40 years, he was a member of the Typographical Union, Local 55. He was a member of Elmwood Presbyterian Church where he taught Bible classes for a number of years.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lucy Stirner Lombard; a daughter, Mrs. Karlton Miller of Phoenix; two sons, Edward De Los Lombard of Chicago, Ill., and Warren Arthur Lombard of Syracuse; a brother, Harry Lombard of Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Charles Cliford of Rutland, Vt., and five grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
