MARION -- Joyce A. Todd, 78, passed away at 7:22 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, in Marion.
Joyce was born Feb. 2, 1934, in Marion County, to Ellis and Jewell (Green) Donoho. She married William F. "Bill" Todd Jr. on Oct. 16, 1955, in Centralia. Together they shared 57 years of marriage. He survives of Marion.
Joyce was a homemaker, and she was formerly active with Daughters of the American Revolution and Marion Memorial Hospital Women's Auxiliary. She was an accomplished pianist and had a passion for genealogy. She was Baptist and will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, William F. "Bill" Todd Jr. of Marion; two sons, Dr. William M. Todd and friend, Janet Ping, of Marion, Alan D. Todd and wife, Belinda, of Herrin; granddaughter, Caitlan M. Todd of Marion; grandson, Corey McCuan and wife, Jennifer, of Marion; three brothers, Wayne Donoho, Larry Donoho and wife, Barbara, and Jan Donoho; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and close friend, Marieda Fern of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, in Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, with the Rev. Jim Slone officiating. Private burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
