Ross T. Boling Born: Jul 3, 1920 Deceased: Jun 6, 1988 was a member of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (Shriners for short) a men's fraternity. Oak Cliff Masonic Lodge, Flora Chapter Eastern star,Knights Templar, and Trinity -Industrial Lions club (he was a past district governor). He also served the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII, stationed at Pearl Harbor ,Hawaii.He worked at Dealers Electric and enjoyed playing golf and was able to qualify as a professional , but did not persue it. Instead , he dedicated his time and one of the founders of Dallas Sees, which helped developing countries develop procedures and local as well for better vision and vision practices. I have fallen short in remembering all the charities he served with and supported, but there are far more than those named. He was a larger than life character and will be remembered for a long time.
