Maurice Odell Lewis (Burger), 35, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 20, 2012. Born March 9, 1977, to Robinette Lewis Jones and Kenneth Ray McCollum.
Maurice was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillian and Hensel Lewis, Vera and Willie Lee McCollum and sister, Jennifer Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Robinette (Richard) Jones and Kenneth Ray McCollum; daughters, Ke'Ashe Lee (KeKe) and Stephanie Lewis (BeBe); sister, Alisha Lewis; nephew, Jazmier Jones; nieces, DaShanti Carter, Amyia Carter and Janae Jones; girlfriend, Chanette Miller; a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held noon Friday, December 28, 2012, at Garden of Prayer #7 Viison of Faith Ministries with the Bishop Shadrack Brown Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Friends may call on Thursday afternoon for viewing at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
