LYKENS - Clair "Boobie" H. Snyder, age 73, of 252 Indian Trail Road passed away on Friday, February 11th, at his residence.
He was born in Lykens Twp. the son of the late Charles and Gertrude
Snyder. He was retired from the former Kocher Coal Co. and a member of New Hope in Christ at Maranatha Chapel in Berrysburg.
Survivors include his wife Helen Hoffman, a son Robin Snyder and his wife Rose of Berrysburg, a daughter, Karen Roberts and her husband Tom of Halifax, two step-sons Kenneth Hoffman of Loyalton and Douglas Hoffman of Elizabethville, three grandchildren Nicole Schaeffer, Evan Roberts and Scott Snyder, eight step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren, a brother Robert Snyder of Valley View, a sister Lorranie Leitzel of Lykens. He was preceded in death by a brother Carl Snyder.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 16 from 9-11 am at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Elizabethville. Services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Millers Church Cemetery in Halifax.
