Emma F. Hurley, 89, of Crisfield, died February 9, in the Tawes Nursing Home of heart disease. Her husband was Milton G. Hurley, who died in 1969.
She was born in Marumsco and was the daughter of the late Joshua Thomas Matthews and Eva Maddrix Matthews. She was a member of the First Baptist Church here and the Crisfield Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons.
Surviving are several cousins.
A funeral service was held at the Sterling Funeral Home with Rev. Sean Lee officiating. Interment was in the Crisfield Cemetery.
Contributions may be made in memory of the deceased to the memorial fund of First Baptist Church, Crisfield, Md. 21817.
