ROSE CREEK -- Earl W. Ludwig, 67, of Rose Creek, a self-employed truck driver formerly of Le Roy, died Wednesday (April 27, 1994) at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin.
He was born May 19, 1926, in Santa Ana, Calif. On Dec. 7, 1946, he married Edith Henriksen in Austin. His wife died in 1978.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Hatle of Adams; six grandchildren; three great-grandsons; a brother, Donald of Austin; and a sister, Lorraine (Mrs. Cecil) Hanson of Le Roy. Two sons preceded him in death.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Le Roy with the Rev. Donald Connelly officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Hutchins Funeral Home in Le Roy and an hour before the service Saturday at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
