BATEMAN, Phoebe Crabill of Prairie Village, KS, passed away March 13, 2010. Phoebe was born January 5, 1941 in Springfield, OH. to Corey and Erma (Eichelman) Crabill. Phoebe was a graduate of Springfield High School and attended Wittenburg University. Phoebe relocated to Kansas City in the 1960s where she was employed by R. H. Macy Company as a buyer for many years, then later as a medical office accountant. Phoebe was preceded in death by her husband Earl C. Bateman. Survivors include her sister Judie Crabill Cornwell of Oradell, NJ, brother Clark Voss Crabill of Cincinnati, OH; two cousins, Gail E. Eichelman of Springfield, OH, and John Schmuhl of Flint, MI; three nieces and two nephews. Private interment.
