To all Christian People to whom these presents Shall Come Know ye that I Anne Voss late Wife of John Wilkins of Northampton County deceased According to his last Will & Testament bearing date the third day of December one thousand Six hundred forty Nine did give & bequeath unto me and his Children wch God have blessed me wth by him his whole Estate real & personal Now So it is yt is hath pleased God to have some of my Children to ye Years of Maturity & ye rest of them drawing on & my Self growing into Years And for ye tender Love & Affection yt I bear unto my Said Children & to fulfil ye Will of my Said deceased Husband do hereby declare yt I do freely & absolutely give & Enfeoff my two Sons wth two plantations lying & being in ye County of Northampton granted unto my Said deceased Husband by Several patents one of them bearing Date ye 28th of October 1648 ( should be 1638 WBW) being Six hundred Acres of Land lying and being on ye Seabord Side Adjoining to ye Land of Coll Obedience Robins wch plantation & Divident of Land containing Six hundred Acres before mentioned with all ye Rights & priviledges thereunto belonging I give unto my loving Son Jno Wilkins forthwith to possess & Injoy As his own proper Estate to him Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns for Ever And ye other patent bearing date ye 10th of March 1637 being five hundred Acres of Land binding Southerly on Kings Creek & Westerly on ye Secteraries Landbeing ye Land I now live upon wch Land with all ye Rights & priviledges thereunto belonging I do give unto my loving Son Nathaniel Wilkins freely to possess & Injoy at ye Hour of my Death to him his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns for ever also during my Said Lifr that my Son Nathaniel Wilkins shall have priviledge to make use of So much of y Land as he Shall have Occasion to tend & Manure provided that he neither trouble nor Molest nor my Husband nor any [body ] else that belong unto us durning my Natural Life And this my Act & Deed I do affirm to be according to ye last Will & Testament of my Late Husband I being left Sole Executrix for ye dividing of it And in Testimony that this my Sole Act & Deed I have hereunto Set my Hand & Seal ye 30th of April 1660

The Word Heirs not being menconed on ye other Side wch was then Inteded and now performed by these Words Wch ye Law require binding me my Heirs Exrs Adnrs to Confirm all things belonging unto ye within mentioned premises unto ye sd Nathaniel Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns together wth ye Benefit of Half ye Ochard Signed this 16th of October 1662 It's further agreed upon that if ye Sd Nathaniel Wilkins die without Issue the premises to return unto John Wilkins & his Heirs for Ever

To All Christian People to whom this present writing shall Come Know ye that I John Wilkins of Northampton County in Virginia Son & heir of John Wilkins late of the said County deced that Whereas my mother Ann Voss Widow hath by her Deed of Gift bearing date the 30th of April 1660 given R granted after her decease unto my Brother Nathaniel Wilkins one Divident of Land containing Five hundred Acres lying and being in the the said County of Northampton bounding on the Secretarys Land and Kings Creek hath since by her Deed of Lease bearing date the 14th of September 1662 for Consideracon of two thousand pounds of Tobacco & Cask'd farm'd to him my said Brother Nathanoell Wilkins and to his Heirs Exrs Admrs during her natural life two hundred & fiftyAcres part of the said Five hundreds Acres wth certain houseingthereunto belonging as by the said Lease appears. Now Know ye that I the said John Wilkins Son & heir of the said John Wilkins deced do as Duty binds me confirm and allow these presents the Acts & Deeds made & granted of the said Five hundred Acres of Land by my said Mother to my said Brother Nathaniel Wilkins and to his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns forever And furtherhe the sd Jno Wilkins Son & Heir unto his said Father John Wilkins deced for the better assurance of the same to his said Brother Nathaniel Wilkins and to his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns & for the natural love wch he bears unto him his said Brother Nathaniel Wilkins and for and in consideracon of Three Thousand five hundred pounds of good sound Merchantable Virginia Leafe Tobacco& Caske or one Servant in part of the said Sum of Tobacco to be paid him the said John Wilkins his Heirs Ecrs Admrs or Assigns as by two Bills under the handand Seal of the said Nathaniell Wilkins bearing date wth these presents more at large doth or may appear wch in hand he the said John Wilkins do acknowledge to have reced before the Signing Sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said John Wilkind doth hereby acknowledge him self therewth fully Satisfy'd and contented hath given granted alienated bargain'd sold enfeeoff'd anfirm'd and by these presens doth fully & freely give grant bargain sell enfeoff & confirm unto the said Nathaniel Wilkins his said Brother his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns forever all the said five hundred Acres of Land (excepting fifty Acres thereof wch was formerly given by his said deced Father John Wilkins in his life time to his Son in Law John Baldwin) wch said Five hundred Acres of Land lying and being in Noerthampton County is bounded by patent under the hand of Sir John Harvey Knt Governor & als wth the Seale of the Colony bearing date the 19th of April 1638 Easterly into the Woods alongst the main branch Westerly upon part of the Kings Creek wth all and Singular it's rights members and Appuretenances together wth all houses Edifices buildings Orchards Gardens Yards back sides Lands & Tenements Feedings Pastures Woods Underwoods wages profits Commodities comm. Of pastures heredittaments & Appurtenances whwtsoever to the said Messuages Tenements & premises or to any part or parcel of them belonging or in any wise appertaining and also all the Estate right title Interest use possession Reversion or reversions remainder or remainders property claim or demandwhatsoever of him the said John Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs or Assigns of in or to the same and all patents Deeds ritings Evidence Charters transcripts of Fines Court Rolls whatsoever touching or concerning the p'misses or any part or parcel of them To have and to hold the said Messuages or Tenemwnts & all & others Singular the premises hereby granted bargained &sold or by hereby mencond to be granted bargain'd & sold wth their & every of their rights Members & Appurtenances whatsoever unto the said Nathaniel Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns for ever and the said John Wilkinsfor himself his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns for ever and the sd the said Messuages or Tenements & all & singular other the premises before granted bagain'd & sold wth the Appurtenances unto the said Nathanilel Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns & to the only proper use and behoof of the said Nathaniel Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns forever against him the saidJohn Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns & all person & persons whatso ever lawfully claiming by form or under him them or any of them shall & will Warrant and for ever defend. By these p'sents And the said John Wilkinsfor himself his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns do convenant promise grant and agree to & wth the sd Nathaniel Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns & every of them by these presents in manner & form following (that is to say) that the said Nathaniel Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns shall remain & continue undessseised of and in the said Messuages Tenements & all & singular other the p'misses in and by these p'sents granted bargain'd & sold wth all & every theirrights member & Appurtenances of a good perfect & absolute Estate of Inheritance in Fee simple wth out any condition reversion remainder limitation of any use or uses Estat or Estates in or to any person or persons whatsoeverto alter change defeat determine or make void the same (only reserving to the use of his said Mother Ann Voss Widow during her life what she herself hath reserved in her said Lease to his said Brother Nathaniell Wilkins bearing date the said 14th of Septemr 1662 wch uponRecord in the sd County of Northampton plainly appears ) and that the said Nathaniel Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs & Assigns & every of them shall & may by force & vertue of these p'sents from time to time & at all times forever hereafter lawfully peaceably & quietly have hold use occupy possess & enjoy the sd Messuages or Tenements & p'misses wth their & every of their rights & Appurtenances whatsoever (Except before Excepted wch his said Mother hath reserv'd to herself during her life in the said Lease ) wth out any let hinderance denyal interruption or disturbance of him the said John Wilkins his Heirs Exrs Admrs or Assigns or any other person orpersonss whatsoever lawfully claiming by form or under him them or any of them or by his or their means and consent title interest privity or procurement And thereto I the said John Wilkins do bond my self my Heirs Exrs Admrs firmly by these p'sents In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & fixed my Seale this 5th day of October 1665.
