In 1944, Pearl met Robert B. Anderson and they were married March 4, 1946, in Wagner, South Dakota at the United Methodist Church.
In 1947, their first child Dennis was born and after that 6 more sons followed over the next 22 years: Jack, Carl, David, Robert, Timothy and Scott – all born in Wagner, South Dakota. In 1970, Pearl, Bob and 5 boys moved to Nebraska from the farm in Wagner, South Dakota.
Throughout her life, Pearl worked at many jobs in addition to being a farmer's wife and raising 7 boys. She loved helping others and worked many years at the Wagner, South Dakota and Edgar, Nebraska retirement centers. In 1991, Pearl retired from the M.A.R.C. after 13 years.
Pearl had many hobbies and "loves" including camping for 40 plus years with her family. She also loved embroidery, cross-stitching and following her son's sports participation. She tried to make it to all of their games and matches.
Pearl's faith in God, marriage to Bob and her family filled her life but her faith was foremost. She taught Sunday School, loved to sing in church and helped in every way.
Pearl was preceded in death by: parents, Herman and Pearl Ehrisman; brothers, Herman, Jr. and Melvin Ehrisman and sister, Loveda.
Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the Aurora Evangelical Free Church, Aurora, Nebraska with Pastor Vance Christie as officiator.
Interment was in Clay Center Cemetery, Clay Center, Nebraska.
