Lloyd Melvin Logan, 92, of Francesville, IN passed away peacefully Friday, February 21, 2014 at The Renaissance at The Terraces in Bonita Springs, FL. Lloyd was born on August 21, 1921 in Francesville to the late Thomas and Maude Culp Logan. Lloyd married Viola Yaggie Strus on December 16, 1995 in Francesville. She survives.

Lloyd was born and raised on his family's homestead in Gilliam Township, which has been in the family for over 150 years. He was a self-employed farmer until his retirement at age 80. Lloyd was a founding member of the First Baptist Church in Francesville.

Lloyd enjoyed traveling and fine dining as well as fishing. He was a very generous man and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM EST Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville, IN with Pastors Rick Mumford and Dennis Gutwein officiating.

Burial will take place in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville, IN.

Visitation will be from 11 AM - 1 PM EST Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Hope Hospice (9470 Health Park Circle Fort Myers, FL 33908) or First Baptist Church in Francesville.
