Singer/Actor. His 1958 Eurovision Song Contest entry, "Volare" became an instant success all over Europe as well as in the United States. The song, translated in every language, would become the world's all-time top-selling and most widely recorded song; with versions being released by everyone from Ella Fitzgerald to David Bowie, and from Dean Martin to Louis Armstrong. His film credits include: "The Scientific Cardplayer," "The Three Musketeers," and "The Last Judgement."
