Peggy Joyce Hart, 71, of Matthews, Mo. died at home at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2014.

She was born in Delaplaine, Greene County, Ar. on October 7, 1942, the daughter of the late Jack and Ethel Gimlin.

She was employed by Young Rubber Company of Naperville, Il. and Monsanto of Matthews, Mo. until her retirement.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Lonnie and Ronnie Gimlin and one sister; Barbara Gail Gimlin.

She is survived by her husband David Hart, Sr. of the home in Matthews, five children; David Ray Hart of Sikeston, Dennis Reed of Sikeston, Don Hart, Sr. of Matthews, Margie Hopper of Lake St. Louis, David Hart, Jr. of Dyersburg, Tn, 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two sisters; Loretta Depriest of Rogers, Ar. and Carol Cagle of Bradford, Ar.

Reverend Jim Hart of Normandy, Tn. will be officiating where services will be held at Ponder Funeral Home on Wednesday with visitation at 11 a.m. and funeral at 2 p.m.

Interment will follow in Matthews Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chris Hart of Matthews, Donald Hart, Jr. of Matthews, Justin Hart of Matthews, Michael Hart of Matthews, Cliff Hopper of Lake St. Louis, Mo, Dale Hopper of Columbia, Mo and Jonathan Hopper of Lake St. Louis, Mo.
