Royal Oak Daily Tribune, Friday, August 3, 1979, Page 2, Column 3. Harold R. Cook - Harold R. Cook, age 67, Novi, formerly of Royal Oak, died Wednesday in Providence Hospital, Southfield. He was born May 30, 1912, in Detroit. Surviving are his wife, Madalyn, a daughter, Mrs. William (Sally) Blight, Farmington Hills, two grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Moore, Berkley, Mrs. Grace Deverson, Troy, and Mrs. Helen Elkins, Rochester; and a brother, Howard, Rochester. Mr. Cook was retired from the Chrysler Corp. He was a member of Berkley Lodge, F and AM, and the Moslem Shrine. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., today, at the Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Farmington. Private services will be held, Saturday at White Chapel Cemetery, Tory. The family suggests memorial contributions the Providence Hospital Cancer.
