RED BAY, AL. – Jeanette C. Palmer, 67, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, Al. She was born September 1, 1946 in Alabama and was a sales representative for 25 years.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 23, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Harold Ozbirn and Bro. Terry Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Shady Valley Cemetery, Tremont, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are her husband – Hollis Palmer, Red Bay, Al.; two children – Ricky Palmer and Sonya Ivy, both of Red Bay, Al.; special daughter – Sandra Lucas, Fulton, Ms.; four grandchildren – Jonathan Williams, Red Bay, Al., Nicole Earnest, Tremont, Ms., Page Thorne, Russellville, Al. and Emily Palmer, New Albany, Ms.; one great-grandchild – Peyton Thorne; one brother – Richard Cole, Tupelo, Ms.; one sister – Bonnie Pardue, Belmont, Ms. and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. Cole and Virginia Williams Cole and a brother, Royce Cole.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Cole, Brandon Cole, Greg Lucas and Brad Ivy.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday, February 22, at Deaton Funeral Home and until service time on Sunday.
