MARILYN SUE SHIVES, 64, of Hagerstown, Md., died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at her home. Born Nov. 15, 1949, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William E. Lushbaugh Jr. and Ellen Mae Hill Lushbaugh.
Marilyn was a 1967 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She was previously employed by Hafer's Corner and Antietam Cable Television Inc. She formerly attended Christ Lutheran Church in Hagerstown. She was a member of AMVETS Post 10 Auxiliary, Moose International and Red Feather of Williamsport.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Shives of Val Rico, Fla.; a daughter, Stacie A. Wolfe and husband, David, of Greencastle, Pa.; a son, Douglas Rhodes and wife, Gina, of Clarksville, Tenn.; three brothers, Larry Lushbaugh, Richard Lushbaugh and Raymond Lushbaugh; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Williams E. Lushbaugh III.
Funeral services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown; burial was in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
