Funeral services for Alta Baucum Moreland, age 89, were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 16 at the Minden Rose-Neath Chapel, with Rev. Don Woodard officiating. Burial was in the Minden Cemetery.

Mrs. Moreland passed away Sunday, July 14 at Minden Medical Center.

She was born in Springhill and was a life long resident of Webster Parish. She was a homemaker and a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Mrs. Moreland is survived by two daughters, Polly Hunter of Minden and Elizabeth Bottera of Houma; one sister, Lillian McKeitchen of Cullen; one brother, Delma Baucum of Odessa, Texas; three grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.

Pallbearers were grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be made to the donor's choice.
