Deborah Lee Benson, 42, of Puyallup, died Monday, May 24, 1999 at her home. She was born July 1, 1956 in Washington DC to Robby T. and Isabel Lee (Douglas) Blackstock. She worked as a Computer Operator for the Franklin Pierce School District, and was a 1974 graduate of Washington High School, in Parkland. She was a member of Pioneer Valley Baptist church and had lived in the Puyallup area for the last 21 years. She was very interested in her children's school activities and followed their sports and dance recitals and competitions. She is survived by her husband, Greg, and their 2 children, Jaime Lee and Brandon Benson, of Puyallup; her parents, Robby T. and Isabel Blackstock, of Parkland; 1 sister, Carol A. Kramer, of Lacey, WA; 3 brothers, James D. Baxter, of Corpus Christi, TX; Roby T. Blackstock Jr., of Lake Stevens, WA and D. Glenn Blackstock, of Woodinville, WA. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 1999 at 11:00 AM at Fir Lane Memorial Park, in Spanaway. Memorial services will follow at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Baptist Church at 12115 Shaw Rd, in East Puyallup. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Franciscan Hospice.
