At the wedding of George Preston Barton of Chicago and Miss Emma Louise, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.R.M. Welles, of Toward, on Wednesday evening, the following from Wilkes-Barre were present: John Welles Hollenback, Miss Hollenback, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Welles, Dr. and Mrs. L.H. Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Bixby, Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Murray, T.L. Welles and Miss Welles of Kingston. Arthur Welles of New York City, brother of the bride, was best man, and Misses Ellen and Florence Welles, nieces of the bride, were bridesmaids. The bride was also attended by her nieces and nephew - Misses Alice, Bessie, Amelie and Mary Welles and Master Ned Welles and Miss Clara Barton. The bride wore a dress of cream faille franchise trimmed with point lace, and veil, and carried a boquet of white roses; the bridesmaids were dressed in robes of white mull and carried boquets of pink roses.
