Daughter of James Frank and Elizabeth (Woods) Frank. She married Russell Garland on 3 Dec 1849 at Philadelphia, Loudon (now Monroe) County, TN. They were blessed with six children: Sarah, Joseph, Camilla J., James Harvey, S. Evaline, and Mary C. They lived in the area around Loudon, TN. In Aug 1891 they moved to Savoy, Fannin County, TX. There they purchased 56 acres 3.5 miles southeast of town. She died on 3 Jan 1904 in Grayson County, TX at the home of one her two sons. Since no marker for her can be found in the area today, she is presumed to either have been buried on the 56 acres farm which Russell sold to his son, Joseph, before his own death, or nearby in what was then the closest cemetery, known as Coontown Cemetery, west of Fannin County Road 4020, or in Grayson County.
