The body of Mrs George Adair, 30 years old, who was killed by a negro at her home in Pensacola, Okla., Monday, arrived at her former home here tonight. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but burial will take place in the family plot in the Paris cemetery.

Mrs Adair, was former Miss Wellington Smith, daughter of Julia Houston, of Bourbon county. She was a sister of Joe B Smith, Bourbon county oil inspector, Duke Smith, of Harrison county, and Mrs Batterton, wife of County Judge George Batterton, of Paris. She was married a few years ago and went to Pensacola, Okla., to reside. She is survived by two young children, a son and daughter.

Tuesday night a mob of 800 persons stormed the Craig county jail at Vinita, Okla., where the negro, Elias Ridge, had been taken for safekeeping. They were held at bay until state troops arrived.

Mrs Adair's husband is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, and was captain of the football team.
