William "Bill/Jukie-Boy" Aiken departed this life on January 23, 2014. A life long resident of Asheville he was a son of the late William and Estelle Phillips Aiken.

William was employed with Gerber Products for 27 years and later worked part time for Budweiser of Asheville for ten years.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Emma McGee Aiken; a sister, Juanita Aiken of Asheville; daughters, Sharon Shivers of Asheville, Dorothy Shivers of Charleston, SC, Diana Robinson of Arden, Kathy Shivers of Charlotte, Brenda Buie of Philadelphia, PA, Carol Hill (John) of Sumter, SC, Hattie Shivers of Asheville and Deborah Holloway (George, Sr.) of Asheville; sons, Richard A. McGee of Asheville, Alan Payton (Sheena) of Asheville, William C. McGee (Jaime) of Kansas City, MO; Alphonzo L. McGee (Patricia) of Hendersonville and Charles Shivers (Georgianna) of Asheville; 29 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughters, Sheila Ann Shivers-Smith, Angela S. Fields and Janet E. Aiken; two brothers and four sisters.

Services will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m. at Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church. Elder Alfred E. Blount and Pastor Joseph Darity will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
