He is survived by his first wife, Claudine Deprez Calvin, and their three daughters, Carolyne, Frances and Sophie; and granddaughters, Sophie and Chanel Mumford. Was the widower of his wife Carrie Calvin; survived by her two children, Sutton and Trenace; and grandsons, Sutton and Preston Roley.
He served in the United States Air Force as a Flight Surgeon. A graduate of Stanford University and McGill Medical School, then performed Residency back at Stanford, where he became a devoted thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon in Santa Barbara and Ventura.
