Patricia Ragan Shane was born on August 29, 1941 in Harper County OK to James "Edward" and Flossie Black Ragan. She was raised in the Laverne OK area.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Stewart at Poteau OK in 1957 and from this union was born two children; Julie Jo and Stacey. For most of her life Pat worked as a beautician owning her own shop.
She lived in many places but lived most of her adult life in Fort Supply OK.
On July 10th 1989 Pat was united in marriage to Jack Shane in Las Vegas NV. Pat graduated at Panhandle State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education. Her husband Jack Shane preceeded her in death on Feb 4th 1998.
Pat passed away on June 27th 2001 at Baptist Intergris Hospital in Oklahoma City OK at the age of 59. Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Fort Supply OK and interment was at the Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward OK.
Pat is survived by her daughter Stacey Johnston of Woodward OK and her granddaughter Amber Dawn Cartagena of Plainview TX whom she raised as her daughter and 4 grandchildren. She also is survived by her sisters, Cleota Price, Bonnie Wilson, Mickie Kendall, Mona Culwell, Joyce Mitch and Loeta Hunter and by brothers Don Ragan, Dick Ragan and Delvin Ragan, a special Aunt Grace Rumley and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceeded in death by her husband Jack Shane,her parents, daughter Julie Jo Stewart, brother Bill Ragan, and a sister Beulah Ragan who died in early childhood.
