Randy H. Matthews, 55, of Port Arthur passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Mt. Belvieu.

Randy was born June 10, 1958 in Houston, TX. He was a 1976 graduate of Bishop Byrne. Randy loved walking through the neighborhood, collecting travel brochures, watching the weather channel, the sports channel, and especially the "Dallas Cowboys".

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Matthews and Beatrice Marie Boutin Matthews. He is survived by his sister, Jill Hadley and her husband, Stephen of Mt. Belvieu; niece, Courtney Hadley and nephews, Matthew Hadley, Shaun Hadley and Andrew Hadley.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to ask those attending the funeral for Mr. Matthews to please wear something with the "Dallas Cowboys" for his service.
