BEAVER DAM - Rose "Rosie" Nehring, age 49, of Beaver Dam, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. The former Rose Mary Guenther was born on Jan. 10, 1956, in Beaver Dam to Lawrence and Hedwig (Boecker) Guenther. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School. On June 25, 1979, she was united in marriage with Myron Nehring at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. She enjoyed working at Beaver Dam Community Hospital in Beaver Dam for the past few years. Rosie, the caring person she was, loved her time her family and friends and never hesitated to lend a helping hand and give what she could. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Myron Nehring of Beaver Dam; two daughters, Holly Nehring (fiancé Barry Barstow) of Beaver Dam, and Heather Nehring of Beaver Dam; her grandson, Jaden Barstow; her mother, Hedwig Guenther of Reeseville; four brothers, Kenneth (Bonnie) Guenther of Reeseville, Michael (Glenda) Guenther of Beaver Dam, James (Linda) Guenther of Beaver Dam, and LaVern Guenther of Reeseville; nine sisters, Kathleen Lenz of Reeseville, Karen (David) Stratman of Watertown, Diane (Ken) Wylesky of Doylestown, Luann (Bob) Rake of Columbus, Marcia (Dennis) Neuberger of Beaver Dam, Cheryl (Steve) Richard of Neenah, Jean (Ron) Schumacher of Beaver Dam, and Mary (Jeff) Weinheimer of Juneau; her mother-in-law, Muriel Nehring of Columbus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Guenther; her father-in-law, Marvin Nehring Sr.; her brother-in-law, Larry Lenz; three nephews and a niece. Friends may call at the MURRAY FUNERAL HOME in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, friends may call at ST. COLUMBKILLE CATHOLIC CHURCH in the Town of Elba, Dodge County, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at 11 a.m. Father Jerome Rinzel will officiate. Burial will be at St. Columbkille Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Elba. The Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
