She was born February 17, 1949, in New Martinsville, the daughter of the late Marshall and Ida Mae Longwell Dyer.
Jeannie was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Dyer.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Nelson Eddy; a son, Marvin (Edna) Eddy, Jr. of Racine, OH; two brothers, Carl (Patty) Dyer of Florida and George Dyer of New Martinsville; six sisters, Janice (Fred) Doran of Byesville, OH, Marsha Ann Berisford, Alta (Jerry) Koerber, Patty (Mark) Sands, Cindy (Danny) Hooper and Jackie (Dom) Garuccio, all of New Martinsville; three grand- children, Linda (Dustin) Taylor, Sarah (Cody) Cook and Marvin Eddy III; three great-grandchildren, Cael Taylor, Alexa Cook and Rhyland Eddy; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from noon-2 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Snyder officiating.
Interment in Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville.
