Daughter of Orrie Bolly (Boley) & Elsie Vandiver.

"Lucy Viola Baty, was born Aug 8, 1907 and departed this life at 4:30 pm, June 21, 1948, at the age of 40 years, 10 months, and 13 days.

She was married to Marion Baty, July 16, 1926.

She was converted at the age of 21 years and joined the Missionary Baptist Church at Rover.

Six years ago she received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and joined the Assembly of God Church, remaining faithful until her death.

She was a teacher of the little ones in Sunday School and was always faithful, where she will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Boley of Thomasville, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Ike Boley of PowPow, Mich., Chloe Combs of Kalamazoo, Mich., Mancil Boley and Lois Walker of Thomasville. Also a host of relatives and friends who will miss her.

Funeral services were held Thurs, June 24th at the Pine Hill Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Joe Combs officiating.

Burial was made at the Thomasville Cemetery."
