Westminster, SC – David Gene Sikes, 70, husband of Teresa Elaine Hattaway, 201 Sarah Drive, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Lyons, GA, he was the son of the late Hullie and Ollie Williamson Sikes. Mr. Sikes was a Interior Trim Carpenter and a member of Clearmont Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Teresa, include his daughters, Tammy Sikes Hopkins and husband Tony, Jean Sikes Owens, and Tina Sikes Eiff and husband Bruce; brother, Robert Sikes; sisters, Gail Meeks, Kathy Claxton, and Linda Pittman; long time family member and co-worker, Ricky Lee Gee; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Clearmont Baptist Church Cemetery.
