Services for Sharon Lynn Farmer, 52, Ada, are 10 a.m. Saturday at the

Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Kevin and Vicki Cross officiating.

Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.


Mrs. Farmer died Aug. 10, 2006, at a Midwest City hospital. She was born Aug.

28, 1953, at Ada, to Vernon Charles and Virginia Faye Self Walker. She

attended school at Ada and graduated from Ada High School.


She married Joe Edward Farmer Nov. 26, 1971, at Ada. Mrs. Farmer was a

homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church, a member of NAMI, and

volunteered with the Girl Scouts.


Survivors include her husband, Joe Farmer, of the home; a daughter, Shauna

Potts and husband Billy, Tulsa; a son, Ryan Farmer and wife Amanda, Broken

Arrow; grandmother, Edna Self, Allen; two sisters, Carolyn Scates, Conway,

Ark., and Barbara Tyler, Purcell; and three grandchildren, Shannon Potts,

Abigail Potts and Maessie Potts.


Bearers are Ryan Farmer, Darren Scates, Jay Scates, Devin Smith, Shane Perez

and Michael Phillips.
