Joann Adele Foley, 90, passed away at home in Boise with family at her side on February 17, 2014.
Joann was born in South Whitley, Indiana on June 15, 1923 to parents Roy and Helen Price. She lived in Texas, California and Oregon before eventually settling in Idaho in 1956. She worked for many years for Hewlett-Packard and retired from there in 1992. She is survived by her daughter Kristine (Larry) Cantrell, son Gregory Foley, and daughter, Debra (Mark) Dixon; her grandchildren Heather (Chris) Glahn, Peter (Lindsy) Iverson, Phillip Dixon, Ethan Foley and Cody Foley; great-grandchildren Cameron & Sarah Eagans, Soren Iverson, Kaden & Alexis Dixon and Julia & Michael Glahn; many nieces and nephews and her cousin that was like a sister to her, Janet Koch. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Jon Foley, her great-grand daughter Meaghan Adele Eagans, and her brother and sister-in-law Mickey & Sarah Price.
Joann had a tremendous love for the outdoors and the simple things in life. But, most of all she had a tremendous love for her family. Her generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to her family and anyone who knew her. She lived her life with integrity and pride. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Services will be held at Cloverdale Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.
