He married Linda Diggs on July 1, 1968, in Big Spring, TX.
He attended Andrews High School. Jerald graduated from Sul Ross University. He was a teacher for Big Spring ISD for 38 years. He was involved in the Big Spring Prospectors Club.
Jerald is preceded in death by his brother, Corky Wilson; and his twin brother, James "Jimmy" R. Wilson.
Jerald is survived by his wife, Linda Wilson; son, Glenn Wilson (Melissa); daughter, Misty Wilson; and brother, William "Bill" Wilson (Joyce).
A private family burial will take place at Andrews Cemetery at a later date.
