Serving aboard : H.M. Trawler "Pitstruan" . Royal Naval Reserve.

HMT Pitstruan, built by A. Hall & Co Ltd., Aberdeen in 1913 and operated at the time of her loss by Royal Navy, was a British navy trawler of 206 tons.
On April 13th, 1917, HMT Pitstruan was sunk by a mine from the German submarine UC-76 (Wilhelm Barten).
This happened 3 miles SE from the Noss Head lighthouse. 11 persons were lost.
