MANNING — Lillian Irene Bryant Gibson, 81, wife of Wallace Gibson, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 16, 1931, in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Josh Clifford and Lillian Irene Tisdale Bryant. She was a retired accounting clerk with Campbell's Soup.
She is survived by two sons, David Michael Gibson of Longs and Clifford Douglas Gibson (Bonnie) of Bonneau; three daughters, Patricia Leigh Gibson Nunnery, Laura Irene Gibson Guthrie (David) and Lisa Faye Gibson Smith (Jim), all of Manning; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, David Paul, Samantha, Justin, Erin, Ian and Payton; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Faye Bryant Winkles (Clifton) of Manning; and a number of nieces and nephews.
